“Ouch!”

After hiking to the summit of Sulphur Mountain, Banff in British Colombia, Canada in beautiful sunlight the weather suddenly changed. We were showered with painful hailstones. But driving wind and hailstones couldn’t take the huge smiles of our faces. The 360 degree views of the Rockies were incredible!
Starting with a piece of plain white cardstock I found various circle stamps in my stash and stamped a border before randomly adding colour with my paints. I then added small brads, gems, sequins and candi to embellish some of the circles. I added pattern to the background using a splat stamp, a mask and with random splatters. A couple of punched blue borders and a title and the page was finished.
Supplies: Woodware and EK Success border punches, various circle stamps, Gansai Tambo paints, Confetti mask, blue and black ink.

Bunny Love

When I opened this beautifully decorated box I squealed with delight! Tina Williams has made me my very own felt bunny – so gorgeous.
Tina has used a combination of felt, fabric and lace, plus an immense amount of skill, to create this cute little character!
Here are a couple of close ups to show the detail of the coat. Tina used little dies purchased from the shop to die cut the tiny flower, butterfly and heart shapes:
Embroidery, tiny buttons and beads enhance the design:
Tina include a “poem” based on the name Christina which I can identify with:
A very personal and special gift that I will always treasure. Thank you so much Tina.
