The Start of Scrap Club!

Although I offered scrapbooking classes at A Maze of Memories from 2006 when we first opened, it wasn’t until January 2011 that our current monthly scrap club started. I thought I would share the very first layout we did. The title was Just Me and I asked everyone to bring a photo of themselves – sound familiar?
The base is patterned paper, and a large circle has been hand stitched on top.

A large tag pulls out from behind the photo mat so there is plenty of space for journaling. I added a decorative edge with a punch.
I used a Hero Arts flower stamp set to make the flowers.
They were stamped onto a selection of patterned papers and cut out.
Glossy Accents has been added to the flower centres.
I cut the title using a new machine on the crafting market called a ….Cricut! It wasn’t possible in those days to manipulate and weld images like today.
So, how about scraplifting my original design yourself?
And have you spotted my mistake on the layout?

Lovely layouts Christina for both ‘Just Me’s pages. I did them and in between too. Thank you to you and all your Team, past and present , for happy hours of scrapbooking and cardmaking. I’ve made lovely friends too.
I’m very sad you’re closing, and wish you Happy Retiremet .
