Scrap Club Finale – Just Me

When I opened A Maze of Memories twelve years ago there was only about half a dozen of us scrapbooking locally. My aim was to grow the hobby and inspire lots of other people to scrapbook. With around eighty scrapbookers coming to scrap club each month I feel very happy to have helped that happen.
When you look back on a layout it is always the journaling that will draw the eye. What’s the page and photo all about?  This final page incorporates a revolving circle for journaling, an idea that came to me when making a card design for card club!
I try to include a variety of techniques. This month we stamped, stencilled and made our own faux enamel dots!
I have always enjoyed designing layouts that other crafters can make their own. So I always try to make more than one sample layout to show how the design can be adapted. This second page “Enough Said” features two main 6×4 photos, smaller circular photos rather than patterned paper used on the original design, and two revolving circles, one for journaling and one for additional photos!
This is a very adaptable design and I have another six partially completed layouts to finish that uses it. Just as well I’ll have a bit more time in the future for scrapbooking as I still have tons of layouts to finish and heaps of photos and memories I want to capture!

I am one of those 80 scrapbookers and you, along with Lynda Pearce, introduced me to this wonderful hobby; for which I am most grateful. I have learnt wonderful techniques and experienced many happy hours at AMOM over the years. A very big thank you. x
