I thought I would share just a few of the ideas and makes that some of our talented local crafters came up with this month at Magathon!
Jenny’s gatefold card design was popular. I made two other versions, and loved this one created by Lesley Wright in class.
Great colouring and cutting out by Lesley!
Lesley also made the card below which was an idea in the magazine. A simple design but very effective. Those playing card stamps are very useful!
Virginia Lawrence was very productive during the day……
…and created all these cards:
Masking the playing cards to create a background created this fab design:
I also loved Virginia’s rainbow unicorn with the wilted violet distress oxide background:
I really like this pink and white card created by Sheila Brisland. Sheila used her new stamp press and the crown image to get perfectly placed corners. Colouring just a few of the gems picks up on the pink card. The band across the centre has been created by masking and stamping the small playing cards image. I will have to borrow that idea.
Clare Jacques scraplifted one of my Magathon designs and created the perfect page for a photo of her wedding cake!
The cake was in the shape of a Fairytale castle, and inside it was chocolate. Yum!
And finally, another photo of a happy Karen Ballantine with her fab bunting that I shared earlier this week!
Thanks everyone for sharing all your inspiration.
We have a couple of the magazines left if anyone would like one reserved.
