“Fairytale” by Carolyn

I’m looking forward to our final May Magathon session today. I thought I would share just one of the layouts we have created with the Creative Stamping “Enchanted” collection of stamps. I have used the set for a New Years Eve part layout and even a graduation page!

Carolyn has scrapped this charming photo of herself and her two daughters when they were young, visiting Disney World.

The background patterned paper (a baby collection from the shop) was perfect for the magical feel Carolyn wanted to create. The princess, wand and greeting are all stamps in the set. I particularly like the way Carolyn has stamped the fairy dust all round the page using clear sparkly embossing powder!

The die cut title has been enhanced with some star shaped gems. The pretty stamped corner detail was done with the crown, another image in the set.

Carolyn stamped the castle onto a die cut shape and coloured it to match the castle in the photo. Change the colours and this would work when scrapping photos of Warwick or Windsor castles too!

I like the way just three clouds have been positioned to visually extend the photo!

The finished page is lovely and show how the stamp set is a great addition to our crafting stash when scrapbooking. Change the princess for the dragon and knight, and add lots of flames!  This page could be recreated with a very different feel, but using the same stamp set!

Thanks Carolyn.

Please let us know if you would like the magazine and stamps reserved for you. We have a few sets left.
